Coach fatally struck by baseball during Minor League game

Little Rock, AR - Mike Coolbaugh barely had time to react before he was fatally struck by a stray baseball that ruptured an artery on the left side of his neck. Coolbaugh was standing in the first-base coach’s box when the incident took place.
